What we’ll talk about

Aged care is changing. People have always wanted to stay at home as they age. However, as their care needs increase they and their families often face a difficult choice and transition into residential aged care facilities.

A traditional aged care facility is much like a hospital, (long corridors, hospital like bedrooms). But increasingly people are realising that there are better alternatives. A social environment in a normal home where high care needs can be fully catered for has been shown to lead to better health outcomes for residents.

Join me for this webinar on January 20th where we’ll go over the details of the social environment, how it differs from the traditional environment, and how factors like home design and care models can impact the well-being of those receiving care.

I’ll see you there!

“Thank you for facilitating this wonderful session with Tamar Krebs. Tamar – Thank you so much for your talk and conversation. Congratulations on realising your vision and mission to provide care for ageing people, with and without dementia, who are increasingly vulnerable or frail, staffed by such caring people who provide love and understanding as well as adept physical care to the residents in the Group Homes you founded.”
