Whistleblower Policy
Last updated: October 2024
At Group Homes Australia Pty Ltd (GHA), we are committed to upholding high standards of corporate governance, compliance, and ethical behaviour. We encourage each of our team members and stakeholders to report any concerns about misconduct – such as theft, fraud, bribery, collusion, and conflicts of interest – that has the potential to impact you, our team, our residents, or the organisation, through our Whistleblower House Rule (Policy). Speaking up ensures our team, residents, and families can enjoy a safe place to work, live and visit.
Reports made under our Whistleblower House Rule are investigated confidentially, promptly, and fairly, with protection and support provided to the whistleblower. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unethical behaviour, including abuse of authority, mismanagement of funds, and actions endangering public safety.
We offer multiple reporting channels, including a 24/7 Whistleblower Hotline. Your anonymity is our priority, and we will ensure your identity is protected if you wish to remain anonymous. However, providing detailed information will help ensure a thorough investigation.
We understand the importance of whistleblowing in maintaining integrity and ethical standards within our operations and are committed to supporting and protecting those who raise concerns.
