To ensure the safety of residents and the GHA teams in our homes, it is crucial that we continue to follow Covid-safe practices. Below is an overview of our guidelines on vaccine status for visitors and GHA team members. By working together to implement these practices, we can continue to provide a safe and healthy environment for our residents and team during these challenging times.

Operations
- Approved trade people as required
- Masks must be worn when indoors
- A minimum of 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine is desirable

Outings, Meetings & External Providers
- GHA-facilitated outings to outdoor open spaces or other homes are encouraged
- Private external appointments are permitted
- Hairdressing services permitted in the homes
- Family meetings are held in person unless requested otherwise
- A minimum of 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine is desirable

Support Team
- Masks to be worn when visiting inside the homes
- Minimum of 3 vaccinations is required to enter the home
- Masks are to be worn when taking tours inside the home
- Rapid Antigen test at the onset of symptoms & every 72 hours
- A mandatory 3 doses of Covid-19 vaccine are required

Homemakers
- Homemakers can work multiple GHA homes and other jobs provided they are logged with GHA
- Surgical masks are to be worn when inside the home
- Night shift: masks are not required when all residents are in their own rooms. Masks are to be reapplied when attending to residents in their room
- When the home is empty (no residents) masks are not required
- A minimum of 3 vaccinations is required
- Strongly encourage to access additional booster vaccinations
- Rapid Antigen test at the onset of symptoms & every 72 hours
- A minimum of 3 doses of Covid-19 vaccine is desirable

Resident Visitors
- There are no limits to the number of visitors
- Masks to be worn indoors only
- Encourage outdoor visits
- A minimum of 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine is desirable
